Our Responsibilities

We’re known for our passion for all things travel and tech, but it’s our team of travel gurus, number crunchers and trail blazing industry experts that are the driving force behind what we do.

We share the same ambitions and make the noise needed to shake up the future of travel management - and we do it together. Moreover, we’re big on taking our responsibilities seriously and nurturing relationships.

From those around us to the trees in our rainforests. Here’s just a handful of the things we do.
Mental health

Our Mental Health First Aiders are the first line of support to guide our people if they’re struggling with their mental health.

Community Days

We give all of our employees one paid community day every year to share their skills and give back to their local communities.

Employee assistance

We invest in the wellbeing of our employees through our partnership with Care first employee assistance.

Cycling Scheme

Our scheme offers a discounted bike purchase while reaping the benefits of regular exercise for greener and cheaper commuting.

CareFirst

We offer a 24/7 confidential employee assistance programme called CareFirst offering:

Online resources and information supporting mental, physical, social and financial well-being; Providing Free Expert counselling on mental health and guidance from professional advisors about any work-related or personal life issues, and to discuss problems or connect with other specialists such as financial and legal professionals.
Gender pay gap

We continue to seek out and celebrate our people's achievements, no matter their gender to redress our gender pay gap.

Employee Development

Employee development is a key focus at Clarity. Our internal CIPD certified learning and development team ensure our army of experts are well equipped to meet the evolving needs of all clients and suppliers. This includes vocational learning, travel qualifications and Strengthening Personal Resilience courses.

Charity

We have partnered with a chosen charity, Macmillan Cancer Support and continue to raise funds throughout the year for this amazing charity. On average, £10k per year is raised by our incredible people.

Apprenticeships and graduate training

In 2014, Clarity kicked off the Brighter Beginnings Apprenticeship Programme, helping over 40 young people across the UK start their careers.

We also support the NCFE Business Travel Level 3 Qualification at colleges all around the country. Plus, we pitch in with over 50 hours of career talks every year at local schools and colleges, providing curriculum and literacy support, and safety tips.

By forging these strong connections, Clarity teams up with companies that align with our values. Together, we create shared social value that spreads throughout the community like a ripple effect!
BTA Cares

We are heavily involved in the BTA Cares programme which is throwing its arms around business travel professionals when they need it the most.

BTA Cares is helping to upskill, market and retrain members of the business travel community affected by redundancy, etc. to create employees who are attractive to both the travel industry and wider sectors.
Working with SMEs

Our customers have a wide range of needs, and with our diverse client base across the UK, we understand the challenge of finding the perfect stay in some pretty off-the-grid spots.

We’re always on the hunt, connecting with unique rural hotels, SMEs, and third-party suppliers. No matter how quirky the request, our goal is to give our clients the best experience possible. Our approach ensures every provider has a fair shot, keeping things open and transparent for all!
Global Supplier Standards

We're all in on the government's Civil Society Strategy to create a country that works for everyone, championing diversity, sustainability, and ethical sourcing. Our Sound Sourcing Code targets corruption and inequalities in our supply chain.

Suppliers must follow our code and show their modern slavery policies, gender pay reports, and green initiatives. If there are any bumps in the road, flag them and take action. Suppliers who don't meet our standards/policies cannot be 100% validated might not be featured in our content.

We're all about building fair and sustainable partnerships with our suppliers and appreciate the crucial role they play in reaching our goals. Our Sound Sourcing Code of Conduct sets the bar for our suppliers, covering CSR policies, anti-bribery, and modern slavery. Our dedicated commercial team keeps a close eye on performance and builds strong relationships to keep things running smoothly!
Sustainability

We take sustainability seriously and we're committed to achieving Net Zero by 2030.

So much so, we've put plan together on how we're going to achieve it.

No single-use plastics: We say a big "no" to single use plastics in our offices to help protect the environment and keep our planet clean.
Partnered with Greengage Solutions: We engaged the services of a 3rd party specialist to deliver, in partnership, a Carbon Reduction Plan.
Emissions reduction targets: To continue our progress to achieving Net Zero since the base year (2019) we have adopted annual carbon reduction targets.
Changes to policy: We have made changes to our policy that have resulted in a reduction in company travel and flights.
ISO 14001: Provides assurance to company management and employees as well as external stakeholders that environmental impact is being measured and improved.
Reduction of energy usage: Building management systems to reduce energy usage, including the installation of complete low energy lighting in our offices.
