We believe in rolling up our sleeves and making a positive impact, one community day at a time! Every team member gets to spend a day each year volunteering for a cause that means something special to them. Here’s a peek into the heartwarming, fun, and fulfilling ways our team has been spreading good vibes recently:
Cooking up community at YMCA Derbyshire
Molly, Larna, Amy, Donna, and Hayley traded office desks for chef’s hats, joining YMCA Derbyshire to serve up delicious baked potatoes at their monthly Community Meal. The event brings people together over great food and even better conversations. Larna reflected, 'It was eye-opening and enjoyable. The staff and residents were so welcoming and appreciative. I left feeling accomplished and more aware of the vital work YMCA does.' Talk about a recipe for a rewarding day!
Helping paws at Just for Dogs
Our team of animal lovers - Sarah, Shane, Christie, Eve, Kate, and Lisa - spent their day at Just for Dogs in Ashbourne, scrubbing kennels, washing down yards, and, of course, playing with some adorable pups. Since 2023, Clarity volunteers have been heading to Just for Dogs to bring joy to the furry residents waiting for their forever homes. Staff and dogs a like are always thrilled to see us, and our team loves every tail-wagging, paw-shaking minute of it!
Sprucing up for Sparks Project
Rachel and Kath from our recruitment team joined forces with the Sparks Project charity in Scarborough, a group that brings hope to those in crisis through debt management, family support, and suicide prevention services. Armed with paint brushes, smiles, and plenty of enthusiasm, they spent the day alongside Sparks Project CEO Michelle Davison-Ward, sprucing up the charity’s soon-to-open new premises. 'It’s incredibly fulfilling to support a charity that brings so much hope to our community,' Michelle said. It’s amazing what afresh coat of paint - and a lot of heart - can do!
