Arrive at your convenience at your departure station without the hassle of endless queues, baggage checks and of course the risk of costs for extra luggage. 

If you are departing from one of our major stations, and travelling in a Club or Double room, your journey can start before you board the train by visiting our Guest Lounges. Offering accessible shower and toilet facilities available, our hosts will be on hand to offer complimentary drinks and snacks. 

Our Guest Lounges offer a relaxed atmosphere where you can do some work, or just relax before stepping on board the train and also when you arrive in the morning.

When you’re ready, you will be warmly welcomed by one of our on-board hosts, who will ensure a smooth check-in. They will talk you through the service and give you an introduction to the on-board features and benefits of travelling with Caledonian Sleeper. 

Then it’s off to bed or perhaps to the Club car to catch up with colleagues over a drink or even some dinner.

On board experience

You can tailor your experience on board the Sleeper; you have access to your private room early in our major departing stations. The hard part will be deciding head to sleep before the train departs or perhaps order some room service.

Alternatively, we would be delighted to welcome you to our Club Car, the beating heart of the Caledonian Sleeper. With priority access given to Caledonian Double and Club Room guests, it is the perfect spot to either relax with a late-night drink or to keep on top of those emails. We offer free WiFI on board, meaning you can stay connected whilst on the move.

As a symbol of Scotland, it is only right that Caledonian Sleeper showcases the very best produce that the country has to offer. We are proudly committed to using local produce including favourites such as haggis, neeps and tatties, a Scottish cheeseboard or a lighter snack. We have an extensive drinks menu too, including a wide range of whiskies.  

For guests in our seated coach we offer a dedicated menu served directly to your seat.
