In case you missed it, we’re excited and proud to share that our very own Georgia Suttie (National Operations Manager – Venue Find, Groups & Field Trips) has been appointed Chair of the Generation BTA Advisory Board!

Elected by her peers, Georgia will help steer the board’s efforts to support the growth of our industry, engage with its future leaders, and drive meaningful change - goals that align perfectly with her expertise and passion.

Since joining the board in 2023 alongside Neil Wainwright-Farrar, Georgia has been involved in some fantastic projects and campaigns, worked closely with The BTA’s suppliers and partners, attended and supported key events, and delivered thought-provoking ‘hot-topic’ workshops at the BTA Autumn Conference.

A huge congratulations to Georgia on this well-deserved opportunity. We’re excited to see all the great things she’ll achieve in the year ahead!

“I’m proud to have been part of the Generation Board since 2023, along with Neil Wainwright. The Generation Board was designed to bring fresh and diverse perspectives to the BTA, ensuring the industry continues to grow and reflect the needs of its evolving workforce. Taking on the role of Chair for the next 12 months is an exciting opportunity for me to make a real impact, leading initiatives that drive positive change, fostering inclusivity, and supporting others to thrive in their careers. For me, it’s all about helping shape the future of the industry and empowering the next generation.”

-Georgia Suttie

“The BTA is our industry body and represents the interests of all TMCs in the UK.  I've been privileged myself to be a board member since 2017 and an officer since 2019 so it's something I believe in and support passionately.  The Generation BTA Board is all about ensuring the association reaches all of our people, championing the development of talent and working to ensure our industry is promoted as an attractive place to work.  I'm proud that both Georgia and Neil Wainwright-Farrar represent our business on the board and even more so that Georgia has been selected by her peers as the Chair.”
