Clarity's collaboration with Burges Salmon's Finance team streamlined chargeable and non-chargeable business travel, implementing a new coding system, and boosting online group accommodation adoption to 80%.
By teaming up with their Operations Travel Assistant, we successfully organised training sessions and clear communications to guide the firm's bookers through the new service.
In April and May 2022, we held virtual training sessions for key stakeholder PAs to introduce them to the online group accommodation process via MeetingPro®. This streamlined their booking process and enhanced transparency.
Our joint efforts with Burges Salmon's Senior Finance team and our IT teams overcame a complex challenge related to their coding requirements. In just six months, the project was successfully completed, enabling Burges Salmon to manage all group accommodation online via MeetingsPro®, and boosting online adoption to 80%.
The new coding system was seamlessly implemented by April 4, 2022, perfectly supporting Burges Salmon's financial reporting needs without any booker training required. This partnership resulted in a major upgrade to Burges Salmon's business travel management, offering a smoother, more efficient experience for all involved.
“This project of moving group accommodation bookings online has helped our bookers to take full ownership of group booking requests and enabled them to contact hotels directly for quotations as required. Burges Salmon has an extremely good working relationship with the team at Clarity and we all support each other effectively. The new coding system has made travel booking easy for our bookers and reporting budget capture for our Finance teams has been very successful. It was a bespoke request and Clarity met the challenge and was hugely supportive to meeting Burges Salmon needs.”
